Here is my update of the Castle Rock residential real estate market by sale price range. For this analysis I pulled single family home sales from January 2009 to April 2009 and active inventory levels from May 17th 2009. The majority of sales in Castle Rock are under $500,000 with $200,000 to $299,999 price range posting the largest number of sales year to date, 72. Home priced under $200,000 have an average sold days on market of 62 days with an absorption rate of 5.5 months. The over a million market is facing very difficult times with absorption rate ballooning to 89 months and average sold days on market at 515.
