I’m often asked about the foreclosure timeline. Here is a quick Foreclosure Timeline at a glance for Colorado.

Hey Jim; I was looking for this timeline and you popped up. Luke is in Jenson’s class at MPB. We’ve met, but I usually just see Andi. Hope to see him on the soccer team!! Thanks for having this info…just what I was looking for, as I can never remember the number of days for everything!!

Jim, the timeline published above is pre-2008 and is out of date. There is no longer a redemption period.

Jim, please disregard my earlier comment. I looked closely and note the redemption period is limited to junior lienholders. You are absolutely correct with your timeline. Thank you for posting it.

Where can I get questions answered on the foreclosure process and how much time I have in my home before I am told to leave?

Can you advise if the foreclosure timeline is different in a situation where a family filed Chapter 7 and was discharged – has been paying on a mortgage they did not (evidently) reaffirm? Thanks so much for the information.
